As a Royal Air Force and Falklands Veteran who served during Operation Corporate In 1982 and ‘went south’ as part of the task force, it will be an honour for Operation Veteran to attend the Falklands Memorial Day at Killingworth in North Tyneside to commemorate the 37th anniversary of the Falklands conflict on Friday 14th June 2019.

Also, in attendance will be the Standard Bearers Association, Project Nova, the RBL, veterans from the armed forces including the Royal Marines, Parachute Regiment, Army regiments and the Royal Air Force, Royal Navy and the Armed Forces champion from North Tyne council, Gary Bell.

Proud to be part of the parade and to honour all who served for their bravery and courage all those years ago.
